This Fast Start guide helps you start creating reports as fast as possible without delving into the manual. You can use the manual later to review the settings available in Funnel Web and customize your reports further.
Quick Report (single site)
Generating your first report is a simple process you can either drag the log file directly onto the Funnel Web icon or follow this simple 3 step process
Step 1:
Double click on the Funnel Web icon to run the application.
Step 2:
Click the process button on the main window and select a web server log file (if you don't have your own use the Sample log file in the Logs folder). Once the file has been selected press Done.
Note: To process multiple files at once just select all the logs in the same dialog and click "Add" to que the files for processing. Remember that only log files recognized by Funnel Web will be displayed in the open dialog. This includes standard log files and compressed Gzip archives. You can also Process "active" log files from most servers. (If you have a file format that is not recognized by Funnel Web, please send us a sample and we will include it for you).
Step 3:
View the report by clicking the view icon on the main Funnel Web window.
Note: If this feature does not work you may need to install and configure "Internet Config" as discussed in Frequently Asked Questions.
Now you have generated your first report you can explore the various options available within the settings dialog.
